Over the course of our home remodel, several new / larger windows were installed. To finish out the windows, I made custom window jamb extensions and installed trim around the jambs.

Door + Floor Trim Carpentry

What ties it all together — even if you don’t notice. All the door and floor moulding was replaced throughout our ~1,500 sq. ft. home. Notably all floor moulding was scribed to the floor. After installing the pocket door, I designed / made trim for a sleek look (see below). I also built two custom access doors / jambs for our dormer.

You’ll notice a grey gasket on the parameter of the inside flange which ensures a tight seal of the inner, insulated door.

The inner door is held tight against the rubber gasket by toggle stops. The inner door is insulated with 1.5” XPS foam.
